Mia's Magic Book

TO MIA’S MAGIC BOOK This book is the first one in a series of stories about a big underground city called Mousetropolis, where mice try to copy or even surpass people's accomplishments. Mia is a little mouse who gets a Magic Book on her birthday. Like many children she learns from her mistakes and becomes a better "person". This story will help your children use their imagination, be loyal friends and teach them responsibility. Kids of various ages and adults will enjoy reading it. Tatiana: "Why mice? The story idea came from my childhood memories. A mouse appeared every time I played the piano. She loved music! It sparked my imagination, and I wrote this story!" Andre: "We decided to do all the illustrations photographically which makes the book rather unique.I photographed live mice in various situations. It was quite a challenge! I learned a lot about mouse behavior. We actually adopted a few mice so I could control lighting, movement and positions of the mice. I even built a special enclosure for some of the photos.
